There are certain virtual private servers that lay strict restrictions and constraints but these are not very tough ones and are sometimes relaxed when compared to those in shared hosting environment.

Linux virtual dedicated servers is a one which follows the mechanism of jail where it is used to securely divide the resources of a particular system that is certain details which are pertained to that individual system in such a way that the processes does not mount even a denial of service attack on what ever is outside the boundary of the partition. The resources of a computer or a system are many which are stored in the system some of them may be the CPU time, the addresses of the network, file system etc…
